A specific idea to build and test, not a ready-made template. Starting opens an editable prompt; it does not begin a paid generation.
The useful part
What someone would do.
Enter a recipe and original yield
Set the target portions
Review scaled quantities and rounding
The capabilities behind it
Why Div-idy fits this idea.
Div-idy provides building blocks for this project rather than a separate prebuilt integration for every use case. Here is the role each capability would play.
Interactive interfaces
Div-idy generates React and TypeScript interfaces from plain-language prompts. Forms, filters, calculations, timers, and browser graphics can run in the project without calling an AI model for every interaction.
For this project: Scale known quantities with transparent arithmetic.
Generated browser interfaces can format entered information for printing or produce appropriate downloadable outputs, such as text, CSV, or canvas images. The output can be tailored to the job rather than a generic report.
For this project: Print a batch sheet for the kitchen.
Ingredients that should not be rounded automatically
Keep the promise realistic
What to check before relying on it.
Scaling arithmetic does not automatically adjust cooking time, equipment capacity, or food-safety procedures.
Test the full workflow with your own information, including empty inputs, mistakes, mobile controls, and any published behavior. These concepts have not been individually built or verified.
Capability limits for this idea
Interactive interfaces: Generated code checks are not a substitute for testing the actual interactions, calculations, and mobile layout. Arbitrary packages and custom server programs are outside the prepared runtime.
Browser-generated outputs: A printable report or data download is not a standalone export of the entire Div-idy application. Test the requested format in the target browser.
Use it where it belongs
Keep it personal, or share it deliberately.
When you are ready, publish the pages visitors should see. Share the unlisted live link, embed a published page on a compatible website, or connect a supported www address or subdomain where domain connections are enabled. Anyone with a published link can open it.
Build a restaurant recipe batch scaler for a kitchen preparing a different production quantity.
Goal: Scale a supplied recipe from its original yield to a target batch and display usable ingredient amounts.
The main flow should let a person:
1. Enter a recipe and original yield.
2. Set the target portions.
3. Review scaled quantities and rounding.
Details I will supply or customize:
- Ingredient quantities and units
- Unit-conversion rules
- Ingredients that should not be rounded automatically
Use these supported Div-idy capabilities:
- Interactive interfaces: Scale known quantities with transparent arithmetic. Use supported React and TypeScript components and browser APIs. Keep ordinary calculations and interactions deterministic; do not call AI for them.
- Browser-generated outputs: Print a batch sheet for the kitchen. Use supported browser printing or file-generation APIs for the stated output. Make previews match the intended output and handle empty data and special characters.
Important boundary: Scaling arithmetic does not automatically adjust cooking time, equipment capacity, or food-safety procedures.
Make the layout work on desktop and mobile, with clear labels, keyboard-friendly controls, and useful empty, loading, and error states. Use clearly labeled sample information until I supply real content. Do not invent integrations, secure visitor logins, payments, or capabilities that are not available. Keep the first version focused on this main flow.
