Publishing and sharing
Publishing pages and project privacy
Div-idy keeps editable drafts separate from published pages. Publishing makes a selected page available to anyone with its link. Live pages are unlisted: Div-idy does not offer public discovery for them, but the link is not a password or a sign-in requirement.
Understand draft and live versions
A saved build is an editable draft. A published page is the saved version visitors receive. Further edits can remain private while the older version stays live. In Publishing, check each page’s status rather than assuming the whole project has one visibility setting. A project can have a live Home page, a live calculator, and a contact page that is still private.
Make the right page live
- Open the project and select a page through Pages.
- Review its saved preview and open Publishing.
- Choose Make [page] live, or Publish changes to [page] for an existing live page.
- Wait for the safety check and confirmed status.
If the check does not complete, read the message before retrying. A button press alone does not confirm publication.
Choose which pages are live
The publishing overview lists the project’s pages. Where page choices are available, select the pages you want live and choose Apply page choices. Review the pending changes before applying them. Unchecked private pages stay private; unchanged live pages are not automatically republished. Use the selected page’s publish action when you want to release new edits to an already live page.
Know what unlisted access means
Anyone who receives a live page’s link can open it and share it onward. Unlisted pages are excluded from Div-idy’s public listing and carry search-engine exclusion instructions. Those instructions do not create access control. Publish content you are comfortable sharing through a transferable link. An embed and a QR code are additional ways to reach that same published content, not separate privacy settings.
Verify access or make a page private
Use Refresh status, then Open live page to verify the published version. Test every page a visitor must reach, including linked child pages. To withdraw one page, choose Make [page] private and confirm the status afterward. This preserves its draft and does not automatically take your other pages offline. Existing links to the withdrawn page will no longer provide public access.
