How build tokens and AI usage work in Div-idy
Div-idy uses separate budgets for building your app and using AI features inside it. Creating or editing a React app uses build tokens. A visitor asking your assistant a question or generating an image uses the project owner’s AI-tool allowance.
What uses each budget?
Building turns your instructions into React components, styles, and working interactions. A follow-up request that changes the app is also a build, even if the app itself has no AI feature. Ordinary calculations, filters, and local interactions do not need an AI call.
AI-tool activity includes supported text, image understanding, image generation, and speech actions inside your app. AI-assisted tools such as analytics summaries can also use this allowance. Adding a button and having someone use its AI action are separate kinds of work.
Publishing safety checks and generated project icons also draw from the build budget. Check usage after those actions as well as after generating or editing pages.
How can I make my allowance go further?
- Describe the audience, required pages, main actions, and data behavior together for the first build.
- Give exact formulas or example records instead of asking AI to guess them.
- Make focused edits: name the page, the change, and the behavior to preserve.
- Keep reference context relevant when building an assistant.
- Check an existing build’s status before submitting the same request again.
Prompt count alone does not measure usage. Source size, requested output, and the kind of AI operation affect the work involved.
Where do I check usage and limits?
Use the AI tool and your account’s subscription information to review the current allowances and usage. Account totals include activity across projects in the billing cycle. Deleting a project does not erase AI work already performed or reset the cycle.
A failed build can still involve model work. If the result did not arrive, check the saved project and build status before deciding to retry. Keep the approximate request time and project name when asking support about an unexpected charge.
Where are current prices and trial terms?
The pricing page and checkout show current offers, included allowances, and renewal terms. Read the offer shown for your account; a trial is not unlimited usage.
For apps with visitor-facing AI, explain the action clearly and trigger it with an intentional button or form submission. Show a loading state, preserve the visitor’s input on failure, and display the returned error when a limit is reached.
