Quick Answer

To pass custom context to an AI model in Div-idy, open your project, go to the AI tool, and paste the information you want the AI to reference. You can add a data table for Q&A about data, or paste an essay/research notes so the AI answers questions using that context.

Step-by-Step

1

Open your project

Go to your projects dashboard and open the project where you want AI to reference your custom info.

Open: /myaccount
Click: Your project
2

Open the AI tool

Inside your project, open the AI tool. This is where you give the model extra context.

Inside your project:
Open: AI Tool
3

Add the context you want AI to reference

Paste anything you want the AI to “know” for this project—like research notes, an essay, product details, policies, or a data table. The AI will use this when it answers questions.

Examples of good context

• A FAQ list for your business
• An essay or research notes for a school project
• Company documentation or brand guidelines
• A data table (CSV-like) for questions about numbers

Example (data table style):
Product,Price,Stock
Hat,19.99,12
Shirt,29.99,7
Hoodie,49.99,3

Then ask:
"Which product is the most expensive?"
"How many total items are in stock?"
4

Ask questions using your context

Now you can ask the AI questions, and it will answer using the context you provided. If the context changes, update it in the AI tool and ask again.

Example questions:
- "Summarize the essay in 5 bullet points."
- "Answer using only the data table above."
- "What are the key themes in my research notes?"
- "Create a short FAQ page using the context."

Tips

  • Keep it organized: use headings, bullet points, and clear sections.
  • Be explicit: tell the AI to “use only the context above” when you need strict answers.
  • Use tables for data: a simple CSV-style table is easiest for Q&A.
  • Update when needed: the AI responds based on whatever you currently have saved as context.
